What is Mesh WiFi?

Like your current wireless network, Mesh WiFi uses an access point to transmit the WiFi signal your devices connect to. What’s different is that it combines the router with a series of small wireless devices—called Mesh Access Points—which you place in different rooms in your home. These satellites communicate with the router and provide you with a strong WiFi signal everywhere, whether it’s your bedroom, your home office, or even your backyard.

As part of your monthly Mesh WiFi service, Phynx Fiber will manage your Mesh WiFi network for you. If you do happen to experience any technical issues, our support team is just a phone call away. We’ll be able to access your WiFi network remotely, figure out the source of your problem, and make the appropriate changes without having to send a technician to your home.

And, unlike the WiFi extenders you can buy online, our Mesh Enhanced router is much more budget friendly. Plus, we won’t just ship it to your door, leaving you to figure it out on your own. Our technicians will schedule a time to meet with you in person, discuss why you want the device for your home (so they know how to configure it appropriately), then we’ll determine the best location and set it up for you. The device has been designed so it’s small enough to be hidden in your home so it doesn’t appear to be obtrusive, like behind a picture frame, on top of a shelf, or even inside a closet.
